Yoga blocks can be used to bring the floor up to meet you. The blocks can make the stretches less intense, or they can can be used to deepen stretches.
Blocks can be rotated to different height levels to accommodate a yogi's needs.
Blocks can be used individually or as pairs for bi-lateral support.
Example 1: A pair of blocks can be used in a high lunge to support upper body and prevent rounding into the upper back.
Example 2: A foam block can be placed under the sacrum in legs up the wall to give some added support.
